VTS introduces Compact AHUs along with introduction of new Twin Fans for VS 180 to 300 models.
VTS, a leading manufacturer in the air handling industry, introduces new constructional solutions to the air VENTUS handling units. The implementations include the enlargement of the offer of VTS by the VENTUS Compact air handling units and the application of the TWINS system fans.
The enlargement of the VTS offer resulted from intensive search of optimum constructional solutions that would comply with the worldwide trends and the expectations of the customers. The premiere products underwent numerous tests successfully. Now, owing to the application of modern constructional solutions, the air handling units of VTS are characterised by even higher durability and more competitive price.
New compact VENTUS AHUs
The compact AHUs are available in sizes of up to that of VS 21-150 and they come with more compact, shorter casing in comparison to that of the standard AHUs. For the heating AHUs, the difference amounts to even 64 cm! Moreover, the way of setting the air filter has been changed. It is mounted outside the casing of an AHU, on the air inlet, in a special easily-changeable case. The change of the case requires no longer that the inspection panel be turned, but only that the air filter be drawn out of the case. Another feature that distinguishes this type of AHUs from others is the implementation of the connection pipes on the opposite side to the side of servicing. It enables complete servicing works of the devices without the necessity to unplug them from the feeding installations.
The functions available with the compact AHUs include:
- Supply AHUs: H - heating, C - cooling, HC - heating and cooling (CH – cooling and heating)
- Exhaust AHUs: FV – ventilation
Application of new “twins fans” in VENTUS AHUs
VTS also decided to implement in the VENTUS AHUs VS 180 – 300 VENTUS AHUs (7000m3/h – 45000m3/h) the TWINS fans. There are are equipped with systems of simultaneous operation of two identical Plug fan sets with direct drives that are called 'twins' systems.
Advantages of 'Twins' systems:
• higher efficiency – by up to 10% in comparison with the operation of a single fan set with a belt drive,
• lower price of control systems due to the application of 2 motors with lower powers instead of one stronger one,
• lower price of frequency converters in comparison with a single set with the same air capacities,
• higher availability of motors – exploitation advantage. Electric motors with lower powers are practically available on the spot at the manufacturer's warehouse as well as local electrical wholesale outlets.
Marek Obuchowski, MSc, adds - „We make every endeavour to constantly improve our products. We aim at providing our customers with durable and reliable devices at competitive prices. I will also emphasise the fact that we design the devices of VTS in such a way as to enable them to operate in practically all climatic conditions.”
